Coronavirus: Clubhouse arrangements
16/03/2020

Cookstown HC clubhouse will be closed as a precautionary measure from today, Tuesday 17th March, and will remain closed to all patrons until further notice.

The decision has been made in response to growing public health concerns and to address issues of social distancing which has been identified as a measure to limit the spread of the virus.
We would encourage all our members to follow the latest advice to help reduce the spread of the infection:

- Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after using public transport. Use a sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available. – Avoid touching your eyes, nose & mouth with unwashed hands. – Avoid close contact with people who are unwell. – Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze, then bin the tissue and wash your hands (or use a sanitiser gel). – If you have a new, continuous cough and/or fever, you should stay at home for 7 days and call the NHS helpline on 111 if you can’t cope with your symptoms at home, your condition worsens or your symptoms do not improve.
