Following the success of their pervious wins the Cookstown travelled to Ballyclare with high hopes of securing three points.
Cookstown started well good tactical play around the back and the defence were holding strong, when Ballyclare had phases of attacking play. Cookstown responded to this and were able to counter attack this, winning various short comers but with no score. There was tactical attacking play from both the midfield and the forwards with the ball being moved from left to right when Paula Black got a shot away at the top of the circle, where Leanne Johnston got on the end of it to tap in the winner in the first half.
Cookstown remained dominant throughout the second half and were close to scoring again, although they couldn’t convert any of these chances. Overall this was another strong performance from the Cookstown Ladies.
